If you are a frequent drive-in theatre patron and have had the privilege to visit a drive-in that still shows those incredible Intermission trailers from the '50's, you've most likely seen some of those nostalgic Black and White coming attraction trailers. Sadly, most of those trailers produced in the '50's are geting harder to find since they are no longer produced and the drive-ins who did have them have closed. We recently purchased a rare Feature Presentation trailer which featured a panoramic drive-in image divided into two seperate scenes. We were so moved by this beautiful Black and White image that we decided to Digitally attach the two scenes and produce what we feel is one of the most striking pieces of drive-in artwork used during their heyday in the '50's. For the first time ever, you now get the artists' true depiction of a night at the drive-in. A line of vehicles making their way past a wooded area and into the path of a monolithic screentower under a star-filled sky. Beautiful!
Our print measures 5 1/2" x 15 1/2" and is matted and mounted under glass in a Black nostalgic frame that measures 10 3/8" x 20 1/4". The print is appropriately titled "A Night at the Drive-In." It will make a fine addition to your favorite drive-in sanctuary!
