Jack K. Vogel was the engineer responsible for bringing to life many of the drive-in theatres and indoor theatres in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Maryland during the '50's and '60's.  When these drive-in theatres were shown to prospective owners, an artist's rendition was made to show what the drive-in would eventually look like.  These renditions are exceedingly rare to come by today and most of them were probably destroyed or discarded shortly after construction was complete. In 1992, The Drive-In Exchange rediscovered these prints which were the property of Jack K. Vogel.  While some of the prints still exhibited their visual charm, a couple of the prints had badly deteriorated over the course of 40 years.  The Drive-In Exchange reshot these images on high grade film stock and rereleased these images in 1993.  The prints gained such notoriety, they were eventually featured in magazine articles and printed in a number of drive-in books that were released. Most of these images were cropped to some point to hide the edge wear and damage that had occured over the years.  Not happy with some of the prints shortcomings, the Drive-In Exchange went back to our original camera negatives and DIGITALLY RESTORED these images to their original FULL FRAME beauty!  Every bit of information has been carefully cleaned up.   Our prints are now as close to the original FIRST DAY versions as possible, when they were first presented in the '50's and '60's.  You will not find these images anywhere else!
